Ashley Lemire attended St. Matthew Catholic High School from 1996 until her graduation in 2003. During her time there, she distinguished herself through academic excellence, athletic achievement, and remarkable perseverance while managing significant medical challenges.
About the Scholarship
Beginning in 2026, the Ashley Lemire Academic & Athletic Achievement Award will be awarded annually to two graduating Grade 12 students who demonstrate the same balance, resilience, and heart that Ashley embodied.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum overall Grade 12 average of 80%
Active participation in school or community athletics
Demonstrated resilience in overcoming personal, academic, medical, or life challenges
Plans to attend an accredited college or university
Completion of all Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirements
